Dr. Ann Marie Mizzi graduated from the University of Malta with a Doctor of Laws degree in 2001 and was conferred a warrant for practicing as a Notary Public in the Maltese Islands during the same year. In 2004 she completed a Master of Laws program in U.S. Law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of the Yeshiva University in New York.
While living in the United States, Dr. Mizzi was employed at two major New York City law firms, Wormser, Kiely, Galef & Jacobs LLP and Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP, where she specialized in the field of U.S. citizenship and immigration law and practiced for over six years. She managed a variety of nonimmigrant visa cases, family-based immigrant visa petitions, employment-based immigrant visa petitions for extraordinary ability individuals, multinational executives and managers, outstanding researchers, professionals and skilled workers. In the course of her practice, she dealt with individual and corporate clients from several sectors of the industry such as law firms, the entertainment community, foreign investors, fashion designers, the restaurant industry, and businesses in the financial, media and journalism, recreation, consumer products, publishing and manufacturing industries.
Dr. Mizzi returned to live in Gozo where she practices as a Notary Public, and assists clients with any U.S. citizenship and immigration matters.
